Good build your own poke bows
Jeff Boyardee · 4/5
Finally made it to Pokeworks for the first time tonight. Won't be my last. All the fish tasted fresh, and a pretty good selection of toppings (mango would be a nice addition). I went with a large ($18.99) build your own bowl which comes with three proteins. I got the spicy tuna, spicy salmon and regular salmon. For my base I did half white rice and half salad. For sauce I went with their standard or whatever they called it which if I remember correctly was like a ginger soy. I also asked for a side of wasabi and soy sauce that I mixed and poured over the top. For the price a bit more fish would be nice, along with not having to pay $1.99 for a tiny scoop of avocado like other places I've been to do but all in all a tasty bowl. My wife also got a large bowl which she said was good, and my daughter got a medium ($15.99) burrito which she said was ok, but I blame her for not really having them add much to it so it was basically fish, rice, wasabi and edamame. I'll probably try a burrito next time, along with some of that spam masubi I had my eye on.
