Tasty meal and first time trying Pepperwood Bistro Brewery. I went with their blackened tuna sandwich, wife did a vegetarian quesadilla and my daughter tried their tuna sushi bowl minus the corn and peach salsa. My tuna was cooked perfectly. Seared on the outside, and nice and raw inside. My daughter enjoyed the sushi bowl and my wife liked her quesadilla. I did find it a bit odd that they put the guacamole inside of it. Warm guac doesn't sound great but she said it was good. For drinks she got a peach sangria which she said it was good and I had a couple of their house brewed pepperwood monkey Brown ales. It was nice to see a brown on the menu. Don't see that nowadays unfortunately. Everything wants to be an IPA or variation thereof. For dessert we split some kind of cheesecake. I forget what it was exactly as I only had a tiny bite. Service could have been a little quicker towards the end but nothing awful. All in all a nice new find for me and we'll plan on going back in the summertime to sit out on their patio along the lakefront which will probably be nice.
