Finally got myself down to Mount Royal Family Restaurant today and was very happy with my meal. I ended up going with their pemeal Benedict with home fries. The pemeal what's great. Very flavorful and I liked their Hollandaise. Was nice to see actual homemade home fries instead of those little square things out of a bag and you see it far too many restaurants. Next time I will ask for them to be crispy though. Got there just in time (before 11:00) to have a free coffee included. Also one of the few places in the area I've seen that has turkey bacon which my wife will be happy about so I guess I will be going back with her in the near future. Friendly service, good food at pretty reasonable prices I can see why this place has been a staple for many years.
