So glad I gave Maria's Tortas Jalisco a second (and now third, maybe fourth?) try. It's a bit of a drive, and parking can be tough but this place is as close to a California taqueria as you're going to get around here. I got a carnitas wet burrito with their Roja salsa (extra spicy) and a side of their salsa Verde (medium) with a horchata to wash it down. I probably won't get their carnitas again. They were more cubed pork than they were carnitas, but still good. Looking forward to trying their barbacoa next. If in the Stoney Creek area (or even if not) they are definitely worth checking out. One of these days I also need to actually try one of their tortas
