My wife has been on the lookout for a good Margherita pizza and she finally found one last night at Industria. Always a good sign when a place both hand tosses their dough, and then cooks it in a wood fired oven. Back in my teenage days I could toss an XL pizza dough above my head and spin it on my fist. I'm guessing that wouldn't work out too well these days π We started with the Bomba Shrimp, which were some decent sized shrimp in a really tasty tomato sauce with some toasted bread on the side. We both liked it but were wishing we'd gotten the 3 cheese and spinach arincini. Next time. I got the Casarecce Salsiccia which is Italian sausage, arugula, crushed tomato, white wine with butter garlic and parmesan. I liked it, but felt like it could have used some more sauce. Maybe me swapping with Casarecce pasta for Tagliatelle instead may have played in to that. But enough parmesan, red chili flakes and a bunch of their chili oil and it was good to go. Also washed it down with a large glass of their Sterling Cabernet from California, which is tough to go wrong with a California wine. My wife got a sangria which she liked. We also got a tiramisu to go, but sooooomeone ate it all before I got a chance to try any π€£
