Great sandwiches at reasonable prices

Best banh mi sandwich in town at a place called The Cornbeef Hut? You bet. I was torn between a banh mi, or a Reuben and I think I made the right choice. It's not often enough lately I walk out of a place thinking "damn that was good", but that was exactly my experience today. I've only been here I think once before, mainly because I'm too cheap to want to pay for parking downtown and unfortunately that does come with going here but I had to go to city Hall to apply for an on-street parking permit for my daughter over the summer (send some good vibes please) so I was already in the area and had time on the meter. I ordered their 5 spice pork belly, and was asked how spicy I wanted it, to which I replied spicy. Let me tell you this pork really was nothing short of delicious. So much great flavor and nice little kick with the spice. Next time I might ask for it extra spicy though. Mixed with the cilantro and carrots on a nice roll the sandwich was so good and a great deal at $8.99. The place is tiny with only a few seats so most people were taking it to go but all the seats were also full before I took this picture. Anyway if you're either in the area or not a cheapskate like me you should definitely check this place out. Looking forward to trying the Reuben out as well.
