Delicious Tapas
Jeff Boyardee · 5/5
My wife and I both said the same thing tonight, which was that we just had the best meal we've had in quite some time. That meal was at Barra Fion, which serves tapas and felt like being back in Barcelona Only the food may actually be better? We started with the Bravas, along with a side of their homemade hot sauce for $3 and a couple of red Sangrias. The potatoes were fantastic, and the hot sauce had great flavor and a nice kick. Dipped lots of the plates in that. The Sangrias were tasty with lots of fresh berries. I did see a lot of other great looking drinks coming out as well. We also had the Ancho Chile Chicken, Flank steak skewers, pesto artichokes and the Dead man's shrimp. Everything was delicious, especially that steak. I like shrimp, but usually it's pretty bland, but this had lots of flavor from the pineapple rum butter sauce. The sauces in every dish were amazing really. For dessert I did the creme brule, and wife had a brownie with berry sauce along with a couple of coffees. Both were top notch. I do wish my brule was a bit warmer though as that's my preference, but still tasty. Great food with a really nice ambiance and service. Not sure why it took me so long to finally try this place, but for sure added to the list from now on.
